Mozart's Requiem

Well, I won't be "dying of unbearable bliss" anytime soon because we aren't going to sing in that amazing cathedral.  Instead, we're going to be singing in an amphitheatre type atmosphere on a mountain-side/top.  It still should be pretty cool.

Tomorrow, we (the Honduran Nation Choir) are going to be singing at a funeral mass.  We're actually going to be singing parts of Mozart's Requiem as a requiem.  Literally, we will be singing it at a funeral--what it was originally intended for.  Now, that's something that you don't even hear about very often, much less participate in.  I'm amazed.  The person that died was one of the grandparents of a choir member.
