Merry Christmas Everyone!!!
I hope everyone is doing well! Since it's Thanksgiving (or at least it was when I wrote the first draft), I figured I should go ahead and write a Christmas letter. I'm delivering it via email because it's a lot easier for me. (250 family/friend contacts x 41 cents = more than $100!!! :-)

Honduras
In case you haven't heard, I'm back from Honduras. I really enjoyed my time down there and would just love to go back some day. Before I left, I had the chance to spend time up on the north coast with some good friends. It was so beautiful and I just had a great time. I miss my friends from Honduras and I truly think about my time there almost every day. I believe that God will allow me to go back to Latin America someday.

Masters
When I decided to return, I thought the best option for me would be to go ahead and get my masters. So, as luck (meaning God) would have it, here I am back at Lee University pursuing a Masters of Music in Music Education. I have no doubt that it's the place God wants me to be. I've had a tough first semester of graduate school, but my professors have all assured me that this is perfectly normal. :-) I just hope I get better at this next semester!

Assistantship
The most exciting part of being back at Lee is the opportunity that I have to study with Dr. Green through an assistantship with the Lee University Chorale. I really couldn't imagine a better place for me to be or a better opportunity to learn with. Just a couple of weeks ago I had my first opportunity to conduct the Chorale on our fall concert. What a thrill! It was so exciting! And for it being my first time, they followed my jumbled motions pretty well!

New Job!
After talking with one of my professors, he encouraged me to look for a music minister position where I could be in front of a choir on a more regular basis. After looking around for a job, I found one where I seemed to fit, and I have already started there as of December 5th. Exciting! The job is at McKendree United Methodist Church in Jasper, TN. Jasper is a bit of a drive from Cleveland, TN, but over-all, it will be well worth the experience I'm sure.
